New Jersey DRC provides treatment for parolees

For more than a decade, GEO Reentry has operated day reporting programs for the New Jersey Parole Board. Today, GEO Reentry operates programs for parolees in the New Jersey cities Neptune, Atlantic City, Elizabeth and Perth Amboy, as well as correctional departments throughout the country.

These programs deliver cognitive behavioral therapy along with other treatment and training classes that help offenders successfully transition to community life. Thousands of parolees have been served over the years. When compared to traditional parole, day reporting programs offer more intensive programming and help reduce the likelihood of repeat criminal behavior.

Randy Schwartz, program manager of the Neptune Day Reporting Center, was recently featured on Spotlight NJ. In the segment, he and a community-based partner, Pastor Isaac Friedel of the Jersey Shore Dream Center, discuss their partnership and the importance of these relationships for offenders returning home.
