Santa Ana DRC supports southern region parole offices in Torch Run

On June 4, Santa Ana DRC staff gathered up their running shoes and went for a two-mile jog with a group of active and retired parole agents from the southern region as part of the Orange County Torch Run, a fundraising event for Special Olympics of Orange County.

The group included parole agents and staff from the GPS South & North, CPAT, South Coast, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, San Bernardino, Mid-City and Riverside districts.

Together, the participants raised more $2,000 in donations, and it was the largest group of runners in the 15 years that southern region parole agents have participated. After the torch run, the group went back to the Irvine Parole Office for some celebratory tacos.
