GEO Reentry Services recently hosted an open house at the Lycoming County Reentry Service Center, an intensive reentry program created in partnership with Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, that is set to open this month.
The center will provide ongoing treatment to participants referred to the program from county probation, parole, treatment court, domestic relations and pretrial.
As part of the program, participants will undergo cognitive behavioral therapy, life skills classes, employment readiness training and anger management so they will have the skills they need to successfully return to their communities.
The intensive approach of the center is designed to reduce recidivism when compared to traditional offender programs.
